Honey Mercantile is a new boutique located in north San Antonio. Our boutique prides itself on providing exceptional customer service and a personalized shopping experience to our discerning clientele.

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for luxury products and a knack for building meaningful connections with customers. As a Storefront Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and maintaining the overall presentation and ambiance of Honey Mercantile.

Retail Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:

• Greets and welcomes customers as they enter the boutique, providing a warm and personalized shopping experience.
• Assists customers in finding the perfect products to meet their needs, offering expert advice and styling suggestions.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and brand loyalty.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers and sharing expert product knowledge.
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Responds to customers’ questions and consults with them to find solutions.
• Serves as a positive role model and represents the Honey Mercantile brand appropriately at all times
• Stays up-to-date on product knowledge, including new arrivals, features, and benefits, to effectively communicate with customers.
• Assists with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts.
• Adapts to the changing needs of the Honey Mercantile brand and company.
• Maintains the highest standard of housekeeping and organization both on and off the sales floor.
• Creates and/or updates customer profile records.
• Collaborates with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the boutique.
• Effectively utilizes the POS system and inventory management systems.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing cash, credit and debit cards, and using an in-store POS system.
• Alerts management of potential security issues or other problems.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
  
  

Part-time: 10-30 hours per week

Pay: $15-$18 per hour

Experience Level: Retail Sales – 3 years (required)
